I've become preoccupied with film photography.

On Thursday, June 13 my shop will go into vacation mode for one week while I’m off enduring a family reunion. My work hours are going to be way cut because of the time I asked for off, so if you want to be a super special person you could buy something you had been thinking about buying to make my vacation a little more survivable!

what's your inspiration for writing "the one he had forgotten"? would you consider writing a story similar to that one about witches?
When I was a little girl, watching television programs about the paranormal was a hugely defining and very regular occurrence. Anything relating to the paranormal fascinates me, and it’s something I’ve always had a rather encyclopedic knowledge of. Writing a ghost story comes naturally to me, and I mostly write about things I would like to see in a story.
So yes, a story about witches would be extremely exciting. My hope is that I can regularly do illustrated short stories about the paranormal. :>

I've had an interesting week.
I finally finished the six part commission that I’ve been working on, and I even did that drawing for the giveaway I had 13.4 million years ago, so now I feel like I can squeeze some stuff in that isn’t commission related, even though I have two separate ones I still need to work on. Super stoked to have the income from art, but whoa that’s a lot of time I didn’t know I wouldn’t have any more.
Tomorrow I’m leaving for LCAD for the day to register with my probably roommate, Basia, and her boyfriend, and we have to leave super early in the morning so I’m trying to cram in everything I can today.
Also, just a head’s up, the second week of June I’m going to be out of town. I’ll have my computer on me, but it’s just going to be that, a tablet and a sketch book, so if you were hoping to commission something or if you were like, “Wow, in the second week of June I’m desperately going to need to see some new art from Samantha,” no, I’m sorry. Family time! /collective groan
So there you go.
Time to go draw some more.
